It’s Official – EDS Credit Union is now InTouch Credit Union Posted on 3/1/2010Over the last three months, we’ve shared our intent (along with the supporting reasons) why EDS Credit Union applied and received approval from regulators to change our name. Well, the time finally arrived and we are officially InTouch Credit Union. It is important to know that although our name has changed, our routing and transit number, your account number, and all other associated online and electronic relationships did not. Your debit cards, credit cards, account transfers, and bill payment relationships remained the same and in proper working order; and our core values and commitment to service did not change. All that being said; there are some things that were transformed. Our logo, website address (www.itcu.org), newsletter, and other communication-type related items reflect our new, exciting future. Signage at all five branch facilities located on HP Campuses will change first, with the remaining 14 locations across the country will be occurring over the next few weeks. You can expect any newly submitted orders for checks, credit cards, or other credit union devices to reflect our new name; and you will also receive new debit cards, with your same number, by June 30th in order to remain in compliance with MasterCard requirements. Thank you for your loyalty and support. We promise to remember our roots, stay InTouch, and passionately work for you and your financial well-being!
ITCU acquires members and shares of Nevada credit union Posted on 11/14/2009 InTouch Credit Union (ITCU) was selected by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to continue to provide the members of Ensign Federal Credit Union (Ensign FCU) with access to credit union services. This decision was part of the NCUA process to liquidate Ensign FCU effective November 13, 2009, by a purchase and assumption agreement, and transfer member shares and certain assets of Ensign FCU to ITCU. These transfers have been accomplished, and they are now members of ITCU with all the rights, privileges and benefits of that membership. The transfers mean approximately 8,000 members and $92 million in shares have joined our credit union. ITCU plans to operate the five accompanying branches, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as use the operational efficiencies they will bring to expand telephonic and branch coverage to our 16,000 members that live in Western Time Zones. This acquisition will make ITCU stronger and more stable than ever! We will keep you posted when we are ready to launch the expanded Member Care hours and services, because we never forgot that we work for you and your financial well-being!
